 How much is your maximum loan?
Loans range from $1,000 to $125,000.
 What can I use loan proceeds for?
Loans can be for business purposes or community development projects. Eligible uses include working capital, purchase of land or buildings, construction of buildings, leasehold improvements, vehicle purchase, purchase of inventory and equipment, purchase of existing business, and refinancing of high interest debt.
 Who is eligible to apply for a loan?
Any new or existing business or community development project that is located on or near the Wind River Indian Reservation is eligible to apply for a loan.
 Do I have to have collateral to get a loan?
Yes. All loans must be secured with collateral. Keep in mind that assets purchased from the loan proceeds can be used as collateral. WRDF staff can help you figure out what you have that can be used for collateral.
 What interest rate do you charge?
Rates range from 6% to 9%.
 Will you help me fill out the loan application?
Absolutely. Just call and make an appointment, or come on in.
 Do you give any grants to small businesses?
No. We are a lending organization.
 Is there a fee for your business counseling services?
All of our one-on-one business development services are free. We charge a small fee for our SAGE Course (see below).
 How much does it cost to take the SAGE Business Planning Course?
There is a $25 non-refundable fee.

  • Completed loan application and checklist (see Loan Program)

     Can you help me review my credit report?
    Yes. We will also work with you if you don’t have a credit history or show you ways to improve your credit if you have poor credit history.
